EatZu was born out of a common problem faced by students everywhere: wasting precious break time waiting in long lines at the college canteen.

Our application digitizes the entire college food ordering experience. Students can browse the daily menu, customize their orders, and securely pay online from anywhere on campus.

Once an order is placed, the canteen staff receives real-time notifications on their dedicated vendor dashboard. They can update the order status to "Preparing" and finally "Ready for Pickup".

By streamlining this process, EatZu completely eliminates the need to stand in line. Students receive a push notification when their food is ready and simply walk up to the designated pickup counter to grab their meal.

Built with a robust full-stack architecture, EatZu utilizes React for a blazing-fast user interface, Node.js and Express for reliable API handling, and MongoDB to store menus, orders, and user profiles.

The result? Happier students with more time to relax, and significantly improved operational efficiency for the canteen staff during peak rush hours.

This Corporate Hiring Portal was designed to streamline the recruitment process for a mid-sized enterprise, eliminating the chaos of managing applications via email.

The platform serves two primary user roles: Applicants and HR Personnel. Applicants can browse open job postings, submit their resumes and cover letters, and track their application status in real-time through a secure login portal.

On the other side, HR professionals have access to a comprehensive dashboard. Here, they can create and publish new job listings, review incoming applications, and change applicant statuses (e.g., Under Review, Shortlisted, Interviewed, Approved, or Denied).

When HR updates an application status, the applicant's dashboard is instantly updated, and an automated email notification is dispatched to keep them informed of their progress.

The frontend was built using React, ensuring a responsive and modern user experience. The backend relies on Node.js and Express, with MongoDB serving as a robust relational database to manage users, jobs, and applications securely.

By centralizing the hiring pipeline, the company reduced their time-to-hire by 30% and significantly improved the candidate experience through transparent communication.

This Chat Application was developed to provide a seamless, real-time communication experience, bridging the gap between traditional messaging and modern web capabilities.

At its core, the application leverages Socket.io for low-latency, bidirectional communication, ensuring that messages are delivered instantly without the need for manual page refreshes.

Key features include:

• Private Messaging: Secure one-on-one conversations between users.
• Group Rooms: Dynamic creation and management of group chat rooms for collaborative discussions.
• Real-time Notifications: Instant visual cues for incoming messages and user status updates.
• Persistent History: Integration with MongoDB to securely store and retrieve message logs.

The frontend is built with React for a dynamic and responsive user interface, while the backend is powered by Node.js and Express, providing a robust architecture for handling multiple concurrent connections.

This project showcases my ability to implement complex real-time features and manage state across distributed systems effectively.
